Sahar has over 15 years of international experience as a Senior Design, Development and Project Manager working in the Middle East, USA and Canada on every building typology type combining her strong Design aesthetics and Project Management expertise.
Having received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and her Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto, her extensive experience within the construction industry spans over continents from working as a Project Architect for award winning, multi-disciplinary architecture firms HOK, WZMH, KAA Design Group and Burt Hill Architects in the USA and Canada, to regionally as a Senior Design and Development Manager for prominent real estate leaders Emaar and Dubai Holding.
Sahar has garnered a reputation for successfully leading stakeholders, the tender, design and procurement process to deliver iconic and landmark projects in the MENA region ranging from hospitality, residential, retail, commercial, landscape, mixed-used to city master plans on time, to budget and to the highest quality of standards.
As a strong supporter of educating the youth, Sahar held an assistant professor role at the Canadian University of Dubai's department of Architecture & Interior Design where she taught design studio to fourth year graduating Interior Design students. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of The Architecture Department at the American University in Dubai since 2018 till present, sharing her knowledge and expertise in bridging the gap between the design industry, it’s practice and academia.
An avid promoter for the continuous and collaborative exchange of information, knowledge and ideas, she has also established a research body called Six Degrees DXB, a series of informal roundtable dialogue sessions where a diverse group of leaders from the construction and design industry, both locals and expats, meet to discuss her passion on 'Affordable City: Re-Urbanizing Dubai'. These group of architects, interior designers, urban planners, master developers, engineers, operation executives and artists explore how they, as a collective, can positively contribute in further developing the urban fabric of a city. Through thought-provoking conversations, they identify opportunities for reimagining the city as a truly connected, sustainable, inclusive, healthy community rooted in the universal shared human aspiration for happiness and fulfillment."

Sahar has revolutionised my life! Apartment living in central London means little storage spaces, but after a few hours with her, she has helped me to maximise the space I've got so that everything fits, and fits beautifully together. For the first time ever, I can actually find things quickly without forgetting what I actually own. On top of that, she was able to use all my decorations and by changing their placements, my home already looks much better. I love coming home even more so now! I can't recommend her enough; not only is she fab at designing, she declutters and organises everything existing. She's got such a flair and eye for great design.
My beauty salon was not attracting that many customers and I was losing profits on a monthly basis. I was on the verge of selling the business till Sahar showed up; she listed every little detail of what had to be improved, from decorative pieces, interior design style, rebranding, product styling and placement to the flow of circulation. In just under 2 weeks, on our tight budget and working after salon hours (I couldn't afford to shut down the salon), I watched as she amazingly transformed my salon. She basically gave it a facelift in no time! Returning Client's started asking my staff if the salon ownership had changed!
